The objectives of the foundation are:
- To be a forum for scientists of the discipline food microbiology and food hygiene
- To stimulate entrepreneurs of the AGRO-FOOD sector to increase food safety, hygiene and innovation on that area.
The relationship between scientists (knowledge providers) and entrepreneurs from the AGRO-FOOD secor depends on the innovation of processes and systems by means of transfer of knowledge and skills in the area of safety and hygiene. The foundation aims to realize the objectives by:
- Defining of projects for innovation and knowledge transfer
- Dissemination of knowledge by organizing congresses, workshops, etc. and providing of information via proceedings, internet etc.
- The identification of new areas of interest and areas that need attention and to stimulate research on these areas
- To be a global point for food safety and hygiene
All activities of the Foundation Food Micro & Innovation are carried out under the pointed intention to make no profit.
